Who we are

Bolo & Brew was founded by Angel and Justin, a husband-and-wife team brought together by a shared love of great food, well-crafted coffee, and creating spaces where people genuinely feel welcome. Today, Bolo & Brew is an independent café and wine bar in Horsley, Surrey, built around community, quality and a relaxed atmosphere.

Angel is the heart of the kitchen. With a deep passion for baking and flavour, she focuses on creating food that feels comforting yet thoughtful — from freshly baked cakes and buns to carefully developed brunch dishes inspired by Asian flavours and classic café favourites.

Justin brings the creative and operational side together, shaping the café’s atmosphere, brand, and day-to-day experience. With a background in photography and business, he pays close attention to the details — from how dishes are presented to how the space feels the moment you walk through the door.

Together, Angel and Justin built Bolo & Brew as an independent, community-led café and evening wine bar near Guildford. Everything is made with care, using quality ingredients, and served by a team they’re proud of. Their aim is simple: to offer high-quality, exciting food, excellent coffee, and a warm, relaxed place you’ll always want to return to.
